    Hi Chaching,

Welcome to TWIP. Nice setup you have smile

For your chair adjustment: Do you have the space to make something permanent? Or will you have to move it back and forth everytime you want to use the pc for something else?

If you have room to make a permanent setup I would suggest you build some sort of frame or box that you can put your seat on and connect it to the pc somehow, or at least to your pedals. Then maybe put a rail between the seat and the box to be able to adjust it. I'm sure you can get those carseat rails somewhere cheap. Maybe off an old chair.

Thanks Tys,I was wondering how to fix the rails to the alumnum seat. I'm sure i'll figure it out when i get some.I'll definitely build a frame at some point,as i have been a carpenter for many years. smile

why not fix the rails to a pedal box instead? move the pedals instead of the seat...

in chaching's case it'd be definitely preferable to messing with his aluminum chair...

Thanks for the replies guys. The seat definitely needs to be adjustable. It's getting tougher everyday to slide up to the pedals,LOL. I built my box outta 3/4" ply. Thats why its so tough to move.I had the ply in the garage, leftover scrap! If i would have used something other than subfloor ply it wouldn't be so heavy! I had to implement the seat ASAP,so i used the heavy ply.
I think my best route is to have someone weld rails on my seat for me.Then i can attach the other 1/2 of the rail to my box.Maybe i'll win the lotto and i can build my cockpit! Stay tuned for more later and thanks again.
