Looks pretty cool so far! Nice idea to do it in the episode format. I always like to see how someone's setup progresses over time. Nice pedals you got there and also the TH2GO setup is great! Nice seat as well.

Thanks for showing it mate, and welcome to TWIP!

btw, I resized those pics you attached, they were a little big to see without having to scroll a lot.

Tysmyster - thanks for resizing my pics - it actually isnt triplehead - it was a bit of hassle but how i did it was to have 3 PC's and each joined a multi-player session in GPL - then i used the view function to give each player a separate view - one center and the other a left and right view as shown - i didn't really use the view that often it took ages to get it right each time.

yes the ECCI pedals are the best money i have spent in a long time - i cant recommend them enough -John Pribble of ECCI is the most helpful of anyone i have ever dealt with on the web.

Keep watching for the next installment

    Hi Guys

Part 3 of an evolution, had to get rid of the racing seat - bad back problems, but i guess thats the price we pay - the green granny seat still remains the most comfortable seat i have, not great for my reputation but comfort dictates.

I expect there to be a few more chapters in the next few weeks.

looking good mate. The shape of that desk makes for a nice cockpit. Also that chair is looking mighty comfortable. I'm actually kinda glad I listened to Stein's advice and got me a comfortable normal car seat instead of a racing (bucket) seat. I spend hours and hours in that chair sometimes and especially now with the extra WRC cushion I put in, it's very comfortable. Comfort is more important than fancy looks, I agree. Noticed you have a Trackir now. Do you like it? I think it's great. Love using it. Very much fun added!

    btw:

I resized the pics you attached so they are better viewable without scrolling. Also I merged your two topics into one and changed the title. I really like to keep it to one topic per person. The reason for this is exactly that you can see the evolution of someone's setup all in one topic. Some of the topics are getting quite lengthy because people keep upgrading and changing their setup. Those topics are the most fun to watch in my opinion. I'm sure you understand. smile

Thanks again for resizing and tidying things up.

The Trackir is one of my favourite additions - i won't race without it now - there is nothing nicer than checking out the cockpit of the car your just about to wreck on the first bend.... - it works a treat now i assign the process to run on high priority and have no problems with it at all.

I think my next post of part 4 will make for interesting viewing but i will keep it quiet for now - lets just say i am eagerly awaiting delivery of some bits and pieces.

hope you guys stay interested........ and i promise i will try to remember to resize the pics before i send them.

    regards

Grinn.. i'm expecting AT LEAST that the granny chair will be equipped with some elastics and actuators so you move/float around the room whilst racing.. or at least.. whilst yer trying to grab hold of the wheel again!

Any updates since? Perhaps enough reason to make me have to change your picture again? Keep us posted!  yep

Tysmyster - thanks again for all your tidying of my posts but this will be the last time i suspect - I have finally got my setup complete (at least for the time being) -  I have been working towards this for some time now and even though I have not built the setup with my own hands I am rather proud of it.

I have to single out Dave at Nixim who was the most helpful person i have ever dealt with and can only recommend that if you want the absolute best sim frame on the market "talk to dave"

I can't see my changing anything in the near future so this is likely to remain my final setup

    Hope you guys like
