I've let the thing harden for a week & today is the day it all goes together.
    I'm pretty happy with it.

Gave F1 CE a bit of a work out on PS3.
Using the wheel it changes the game completely.
    Actually makes it controllable.
Which is kind of handy at 300kph.

Also ready for the Bathurst race this weekend.
Some of the lads are coming over so I'm sure it will get a good workout.

    Cheers

Looks the goods mate, well done!  The black and yellow/orange contrast really well.

And yes, bring on BATHURST!  I'll be watching a few hours behind, but I'll get the whole thing

    Ennis,

I read you were considering putting a base in on which to attach/mount/secure the racing seat you had.  Did you end up doing that?

How about the width.  Did you end up adding additional width over the suggestions from the wide body plans?  Did it help?

I have a Corbeau seat that i hope to use in my kit and wondered what your thoughts were.

    Mogwai,

Check out my build of the Microsim, it may answer some questions, as I mad a base etc.

    Cheers,

    Sorry for the late reply
I made mine slightly wider than the wide version.
The Instructions recommend 50mm extra but I did 70mm.
Measure your seat to make sure it fits nicely.

I did put in a base. See pic.
My seat had no rack, just bolts so I just experimented with the best position & bolted it in place.
I ended up trimming more off it than this for a couple of reasons.
To make it a bit lighter & It poked out in front of my seat which made it awkward to get in & out.

    Cheers
